Take some time to read through my approach.

The Experience

My approach.

My approach towards photography and capturing your moments is to avoid making the entire process feel forced or posed. I want to capture you as you are, so if it’s a couples session you can expect that a majority of the time I will be guiding interactions between you both and capturing the outcome. If it’s solo portraits, expect that we will be chatting and giggling the entire time. If it’s your wedding images, expect us to create images together that are more than a perfectly posed smile at the camera. This is how we get those authentic moments and images that look different than everyone else’s!

Trust and Connection.

If you want a photographer with a quick and fast booking process who will show up to your session, take the photos, deliver them, and move on with their life, I’m not that. When you book with me, you book a friend. You book someone who is always down to grab a bite or some drinks before/after your session. Who is here to get to know you; who will stay invested in your story even after your gallery has been delivered. I am not the photographer who will simply be your vendor. I am the photographer who wants to take my time to get to know you and get it right for you to capture your memories as authentically and beautifully as I can.

The Right Fit.

If we are working together, I want to make sure we are the right fit! I do want to spend some time talking about how/if we can get your dream photos to come to life. I want to make sure we can work out the best location, styling, and general vibe for YOU, and this takes some planning which I love doing! As much as I want to take on every single inquiry I get, that may not end up being the right thing depending on what your vision is and what your needs are and that is OKAY. If it isn’t me, I will help you find the right photographer for you. Your memories are priceless. Photos of your life are something that will be passed down and shared for generations. We have to make sure they are representative of your story. If everything you’ve read so far sounds good to you, then let’s chat some more!

F A Q s

These are the questions I get most often! If there’s anything else on your mind, reach out!

+ How do we book you?

I require a 50% non-refundable retainer for sessions, or a 25% retainer for weddings/elopements, as well as a signed contract to make your booking official! Once you deicde on your package, I'll send a contract and invoice to your email. From there, you can send everything over online! If you're booking a couples session, I also send out a questionnaire so I can get to know you both better and capture your love authentically during your session.

+ Where are you based out of & do you travel?

I am based out of Pensacola, FL. I live with my husband Cody and our puppy Ophelia. I do travel and absolutely love to! If you are interested in booking a couples session, wedding, or maternity session with me and are not in Pensacola, no worries; I can come to you! My bags are practically already packed. My current travel dates are posted on my home page. Booking a session in a place I am already traveling will mean all of your travel fees will be waived!

+ What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Any retainer paid is going to be non-refundable. I will always try my best to work with you to transfer your retainer to a new date and time if something happens and you need to reschedule. I cannot ever guarantee I will be available for a new date if you cancel and you may lose out on that retainer.

+ How many images do you provide?

Each session package offers a minimum amount of images you will receive. For weddings I would say the range in typically anywhere from 50-100 images per hour I'm working. The more that's happening, the more time that is set aside for photos, the more there will be to photograph and the more images I will deliver. I don't believe in holding back your images just because of an image count. If I love it, or I think you'll love it, I'm sending it. Reach out if you have any questions about pricing or image count!

+ What if there is bad weather?

I always want to encourage to use whatever weather comes our way, as it will add to the authenticity of your images. If the weather is so bad that we won’t have a good experience, or my gear will be ruined, If I have the availability to reschedule we will totally do that!

+ Do you shoot film?

Right now, film is a passion project. I bring my film camera along sometimes and will take a few shots with my camera but I do not currently charge for it or guarantee film images will be delivered in your gallery.

+ Do you help with the planning process?

100%! After you book, I will send over a session or wedding guide to you depending on your booking. My session guide covers topics like where we can shoot, what to wear, and tips and tricks to a successful session. My wedding guide walks you through a "standard" wedding day and ways to make each part successful. Every wedding is different so the guide is just a jumping off point. These guides are meant to help start the conversation and give you a better idea of what is to come. I want to make sure we tell your story perfectly, so I am here to answer any questions, offer ideas, and make this process as smooth and easy as possible for you.

+ Do you offer payment schedules?

I do! I never want money to be the reason you don’t get your dream photos. PLEASE touch base with me if you are concerned about the money but are dying to make some magic. I will always work with you.

+ Are all images edited? Do you deliver RAW files?

Half of the magic I make as a photogrpaher comes during my editing process. Raw photos are unedited and therefore not a complete reflection of my work as a photographer so you will not be receiving any Raw images from me. Each one will be an edited version.

+ What is your turnaround time?

Your photos will be delivered to you within 2 weeks of your session date and 8-10 weeks of your wedding date.

+ Can you photoshop us?

I don’t alter the way you look other than skin blemishes or anything temporary that would not normally be there (bruise, acne, etc unless you’d like me to keep it in the photos). If you’re self-conscious about something, please let me know as I’ll be sure to be extra aware of that while I’m posing you. I can do further alterations for beauty for $10/image, although my preference is always for you to embrace your beautiful self.
