If there’s a blog post I'm excited beyond measure to make it’s this one. I have photographed so many beautiful weddings and elopements… but this intimate wedding was special to me. Anne Marie and Connor are my best friends. These two knew me before I could drive. They stood by me on my wedding day. They have been there for all of the moments that matter little and small. Getting to coordinate and photograph their June elopement was something I feel so lucky I was able to do for them. I spent time getting to know their vision for their day, and then we made it happen in just a few weeks. Here are the images that can provide just a small glimpse into this magical day in Downtown St. Augustine, FL that my two best friends decided on forever.

Details + Getting Ready

Anne Marie and Connor wanted to get ready together in the home they share and +own together. The home they make theirs each day. I can’t think of a more special or meaningful location for these images. They wrote their vows together in their bed with their pup-baby Kuma.

The Courthouse

They did it!!! We took formal photos outside where they also shared their vows privately in this beautiful section of the courthouse to Flightless Bird by Iron + Wine . We all cried. There was lots of crying.

Downtown St. Augustine

Then we headed downtown for their formal photos. One of the most special stops was to Kookaburra coffee- a coffee shop special to the couple.

Sarbez Reception

Another meaningful location to Connor + Anne Marie is Sarbez. A vibey grilled cheese and beer spot in town. Anne Marie and I came here with some of my other best friends for my bachelorette party so it’s safe to say this spot means a lot to all of us now. Anne Marie’s mom got the call and met us downtown. So special to add her into this part of the night.
